Facebook Ads - for payments by card
Introduction
Managing billing information for various platforms can be streamlined using a dedicated email address. This article guides you through changing your billing email in Facebook Ads with Carboard's Facebook-specific collection email addresses.
Find your email address in Cardboard
Go to Subscriptions > Facebook
At the bottom right you will find Receipt collection.
Update email address in Facebook Ads
In Facebook's Ads Manager, navigate to the Ad account settings > Ad account setup.
Navigate to Ad account contact > Edit email.
Enter
companyname+facebook@cardboard.emailas the billing email on the Edit billing information screen and click Save changes.
Facebook will send you a confirmation email to verify the new email. You can find this email in Cardboard.
Navigate to Emails in the left menu > Open the email sent by Facebook titled "Confirm email address for ad notifications"Press the "Enable receipt collection" button in order to be sent to Facebook and confirm the email and you're set!
You will receive emails titled "Your Meta ads receipt (Account ID: …)" which are automatically converted into valid receipts and matched with the correct payment for accounting purposes.

Introduction
This section guides you through changing your billing email in Facebook Ads with Carboard's Facebook-specific collection email addresses in case of invoices.
Find your email address in Cardboard
Go to Subscriptions > Facebook
At the bottom right you will find Receipt collection.
Access Meta's help center
Visit the help center provided by Meta for Facebook Ads.
Look for information regarding the management of billing emails.
Update email address in Facebook Ads
In your Business Manager, navigate to the settings for billing and payments.
In the Payment methods section, click the three dots
next to the credit line.Enter
companyname+facebook@cardboard.emailas the billing email on the Edit billing information screen and click Save changes.Ensure that all Facebook Ads billing notifications are directed to this email.

NOTE: This only works if your business is set up for monthly invoicing, in which case, you can designate email addresses to receive your invoices at the Business Manager level and ad account level. This may be a helpful option if you work with an agency or partner who manages your ads.
Facebook Ads - for bulk upload of receipts
Introduction
To bulk upload Facebook receipts, we have created an easy way to organize and match receipts in Cardboard to save frustration and time managing these ad payment receipts.
Receipt upload
Go to Accounting > Receipt upload
Here you have two options: either you can (a) bulk upload the receipts into our system, or (b) send them by email to Cardboard, and we will sort and match them for you automatically.
Receipt upload > direct upload
Use the drag and drop feature for an easy way to upload receipts, or click to upload from your system.
Receipt upload > by email
Send all receipts as PDF to your company-specific Cardboard email.
This email can be found on the Receipt upload page for your account.
