Introduction
Before using your Cardboard payment cards, you must transfer funds to your Cardboard card account. The transferred funds must be of the same currency as your Cardboard account.
For Norwegian customers transferring NOK from a bank account in DNB to Cardboard, here's how to do it.
How to transfer from DNB to Cardboard
❗ Make sure to do the payment from the tab labeled as "Øvrige betalinger" and not "EU-betaling".
Sign into your company's DNB online bank.
Find the correct transfer form:
In the top menu, select Betaling, then Betale utland.
In the tab menu, a bit down the page, change the tab from EU-betaling to the tab Øvrige betalinger.
Fill out the Ny betaling section:
In Fra konto select one of the bank accounts you've registered in Cardboard and verified that you own.
In Fakturavaluta select NOK.
In Beløp enter the NOK amount you want to transfer.
In Overføringsvaluta select NOK. If you can't find NOK as an option, you probably forgot to switch the tab to Øvrige Betalinger above.
Fill out the Mottaker section:
Go to the Top up page in Cardboard to find the recipient details.
Fill out IBAN, Navn, Adresse, and Land.
Select Lagre mottaker to save the details for next time.
Click Registrer og godkjenn to complete the transfer.

Summary
Transferring funds from DNB to Cardboard is quick and easy once you know how to do it correctly. The key takeaways are to make sure that you:
Only transfer from accounts already registered in Cardboard. This is to ensure that our bank partner knows that the source of the transferred funds is the same company that owns the destination account, and so that the funds can be quickly routed to the correct destination account.
Always transfer in the same currency as the destination account. For Norwegians using DNB, this usually means that you should transfer in NOK.
